I’m performing at some more local acoustic sessions. This fall I’m playing solo, as well as some duets and guitar pulls. One pull is called “Stuie and Friends”, with former band mate Stu Oliver. I join Stu and friends for a hour of solo and some duets; lots more music from various performers. See Stu’s site for more details.
Summerfest 2010

Wisconsin State Fair Show Added

I’ll be performing with the Miller Rythym and Brews Revue at Summerfest this year. We’ve got 2 dates – June 27th we play at noon at the Miller Lite Oasis stage, with another show on July 4th at the Brigg’s Big Backyard stage at 5 PM. Should be a hoot. See you there!

More Bookings for the CJB

I’ve been having some fun playing for a couple of local cover groups, but really want to get back to a nice blend of originals and covers that complement my writing style. Not sure about the line up of musicians yet, I’ll contact some of the old band first and take it from there. More to come after the holidays.
New Recording Project

I’m in the studio recording a new album (collection of songs). I’ve been really busy with the day gig, so the project is moving along at a snails pace, but I hope to give it a kick in the ass this summer/fall. So far I’ve recorded 5 new bed tracks that include drums, bass and guitar. The project will feature 12 new songs that will only be available via the Internet!
The drums and bed tracks are being recorded at DV Productions, with veteran audio engineer and producer Dave Vartainian. Dave has recorded Live, the Violent Femmes and Jerry Harrison (the Talking Heads) to name a few, in addition his recognition for his work on the soundtrack for the film “The Crow”. Best known for his drum mixes, he’s got a great ear, and really knows how to bring a session together.
